Usher’s ‘Live From London’ DVD officially releases on DVD & Blu-Ray today!

The concert was filmed in high definition at London’s O2 Arena in the spring of 2011 in support of his chart topping “Raymond V Raymond” album.

According to a statement surrounding the DVD: “It’s a spectacular show with amazing lighting, incredible staging, and stunning pyrotechnics. There are multiple costume changes and brilliant choreography which shed light on the story behind the songs in dramatic and ground breaking ways. Despite the epic scale, the charisma and talent of Usher and his music are what dominate the show.”

‘OMG Tour – Live From London’ will also include behind the scenes with Usher and his team as they put the O2 show together and a short piece about Usher’s New Look Foundation in London.

Will.i.am and Usher are reportedly in talks for a duet between their protégés, Cheryl Cole and Justin Bieber.

The 28-year-old Girls Aloud star is currently working on her new album and the Biebs is said to be keen to join forces for a track on the much-anticipated record.

With their mentors having already worked together on Usher’s OMG, it looks like it could be a done deal.

“Cheryl is beyond excited about her new album and Bieber’s team are deep in talks with hers to make a hit,” a source told The Mirror.

“They already see Cheryl and Will.i.am as part of the family. Will’s got a vision for her album, and now the biggest and the best names are keen to be part of it.

“Usher and Will got together to make OMG – just think what they could do with their protégés.”

Usher has revealed that he wants Pippa Middleton to front his new range of lingerie.
The OMG singer gushed that he would love to set up “a meeting” with the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister over the summer.
He told UK magazine Look: ‘I don’t think there’s a more beautiful, more stunning, more talked-about woman in the world at the moment.
‘I’m going to be approaching her in the next few weeks and setting up a meeting this summer.’
The R&B star is planning to release his new lingerie range in the next few weeks and he revealed that he wants to sign up Pippa to help establish it as a global brand.
He said: ‘The great thing about her is that she would be a global brand. Everybody knows her now; she would be perfect.
‘I am sure everybody is trying to sign her up and she won’t be cheap, but she has the looks and the popularity to really establish a new product.’

Usher may be best known for his sexy songs and killer body, but he’s also quite a star in the fragrance industry. He debuted two scents — Usher HE for Men and Usher SHE for Women — back in 2007 and his most recent releases include UR For Women, UR for Men and Usher VIP. He’s also the father of two sons (Usher V, 3, and Naviyd Ely, 2) and in honor of Father’s Day, we got the 33-year-old dad to talk about grooming, staying in shape, and more.

How do you get ready for a night out?”

I take a bath and it’s always good to brush your teeth! I do have a certain way to get my hair looking right. And of course I put on some ‘smell good.’ The greatest tool of seduction is to have the right scent so If I’m not wearing Usher He when I’m getting dressed, I’m concocting and experimenting with new scents for my fragrance line. I like to test market new blends while developing new scents for a real reaction.”

Can you offer tips on picking the perfect scent for a man?

“Some men like a more aggressive fragrance but to each his own!” (FYI: He also says his most popular scent, Usher HE, is the perfect Father’s Day gift for any dad).

How do you prep for a live performance?

“I usually play a mix on loop for the entire time that I’m getting ready. I also do a series of stretching exercises – about 50 crunches and 20 pushups. When I’m finally dressed and ready, I walk out of the dressing room door and then outside my door, my entire team is there to meet me. We get in a circle and I say a prayer to cover everyone in and out of the circle. Then go to the stage to give my fans the great show that they came to see.”

How do you stay in shape when you’re not on the road?

“Have you ever been around 2 toddlers?”

What are your plans for the summer?

“I have a very busy summer ahead. I’m looking forward to attending my foundation’s, the Usher’s New Look Foundation, World Leadership Conference and Awards which is in July, right after I perform at the Essence Music Festival. Then I’m back in the studio working on my next project.”

Following the annoucement that Ubisoft’s smash-hit Just Dance series will be making its way to PlayStation 3 later this year, Sony has its own dance game to shout about.

In development by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Everybody Dance will launch with 40 dance hits and original music videos, including Usher’s “OMG,” “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, and “Barbra Streisand” by Duck Sauce.

Move compatible and featuring co-op play, Everybody Dance will feature competitive dance battles, a 20 player multiplayer mode and in-depth routine breakdowns. Sony aims to make its dance game stand out from the crowd by introducing a unique Dance Creator feature that will allow player to choreograph their own moves.

Players will also be able to earn extra points for singing along to tracks, and take part in a Dance Workout to get fit. Sing, dance and get fit all in one; sounds like Sony has all bases covered.

Everybody Dance will launch this Fall exclusively on PlayStation 3.

Usher would consider joining the US ‘X Factor’.

The singer is close friends with show supremo Simon Cowell and would be prepared to accept a judging or mentoring role on the new series when it launches later this year.

He told the Daily Mail newspaper: “Simon and I have talked about doing things together and I always try to be supportive of people who are friends of mine.”

Simon – who is set to announce the highly anticipated final judging line-up for the show within the next month – has previously said he is looking for an American superstar to join the panel and conceded Usher fits the bill.

He said: “I like Usher, I like the fact he worked with Justin Bieber, great mentor. But it’s about the level of commitment someone is willing to give to the show and if they’re willing to help another artist.”

Auditions for The X Factor are to begin on March 27 in Los Angeles and is set to debut this Fall.

The GAP is launching the second phase of its first ever Chinese advertising campaign, “Let’s GAP Together“.

According to the marketing press the campaign’s theme, “celebrates the new-found sense of freedom and liberation of China’s youth“. This is in reference to the Chinese government recent “openess and reconnection to the world”.

In one of the ads, Usher is featured with Taiwanese pop star Jolin Tsai. Several other pairings are also featured in the campaign. Each advertisement pairs American and Chinese individuals, who best represent freedom of self-expression, with the intent of illustrating that despite the cultural differences between the USA and China – creativity and individuality break down all boundaries. The photographer for the campaign was Annie Leibovitz.
